The Association of Serum Irisin with Vitamin D and Body Mass Index in Healthy Adults

Objectives: This study was designed to explore the relationship between serum irisin hormone with VitaminD levels and investigate association of Vitamin D3 concentrations withBMI male healthy individuals in Anbar province.Method: included 84 Iraqi men age range (20-40) year, divided into three groupsdepending on body mass index (BMI). The weight height all participants were taken extract BMI.The ELISA method has been used estimate vitamin D serum.Pearson correlation coefficient find studied variables.Results: mean standard deviation significantly lower inall groups. showed there non- significant difference among threegroups. A negative linear found BMI, while a positive correlationwith irisin. BMI.Conclusion: People high BMI are deficient D. There positively relation betweenserum BMI.
